Refugee

When I was born, physically
…. a refugee in a strange land
Surviving intrinsically
By the love of a mother’s hands

Most of all know this

When I died, metaphysically
…. a refugee in a strange land
Surviving explicitly
Within the love of a High Command

Least of all know this

When I returned here impossibly
…. a refugee in a strange land
Surviving contradictadly
Despite the shifting times of sand

Least of all know this

When disaster knocked unavoidably
…. a refugee in a strange land
Surviving technically
The plighting of Almighty Hands

Most of all know this

God, I seek refuge in You, from You.
